About the Workshop:
The Indian Law Institute will be conducting a National Workshop on “Understanding Copyright and Related Rights”. The workshop is of great significance during a time when we all find ourselves placed in quandary regarding the conflict between copyright and access to information. This pronouncement has discarded the populist and one-dimensional postulation that copyright is just about the protection of property rights of owners.
The workshop offers academicians, scholars, lawyers, publishers and law students an opportunity to develop better understanding of the copyright law and related concepts. It aims to address and shed clarity on diverse interests of copyright owners, licensees
