About the Workshop:
The impact of COVID-19 pandemic on society has been enormous. The implications of the pandemic range from macroeconomic effects to the deterioration of living standards of the downtrodden at the ground level. In this backdrop, it becomes pertinent to deliberate and discusses the role of human rights law in alleviating the sufferings of the needy during challenging situations such as pandemics as a whole. Hence, we at University Law College, Bangalore University have decided to initiate deliberations on ‘Protection of Human Rights during Pandemic’.

Eligibility to Participate:
All law faculties, legal professionals, legal research scholars, law students pursuing under-graduation & post-graduation courses are eligible to participate in the virtual workshop.
Dates & Duration:
The workshop will be conducted on 10th and 11th July 2020. The detailed itinerary of the workshop will be shared with the participants at the earliest. There will be four sessions in total with two sessions each on two days.
