Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU) invites applications from eligible candidates through direct recruitment for the teaching positions.
The following are the positions
- Director, Research and Development
- Professor (Law/Criminology/Security Studies)
- Assistant Professor (Law/Criminology/Security Studies)
Eligibility Criteria for the said positions
Director, Research and Development
- An eminent scholar with a Ph.D. in any subject related to Police Administration /Criminology / Forensic Science/Coastal Security/Law/Law Enforcement or in any allied subject related to internal security.
- Minimum 10 years of teaching experience in University/College, and/or experience in research or executing specific project at the University / National level institutions, including experience of guiding candidates for research at doctorate level.
- Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology-mediated teaching learning process.
- Quality Research Publications in UGC CARE-LIST journal/Peer reviewed journal with ISSN number/ISBN Number and a total research score of 120 as per the criteria of UGC.
OR - An outstanding professional having at least 20 years of experience in the area of i.e. Police Administration /Criminology / Forensic Science/Coastal Security/Law/ Law Enforcement or in any allied
subject related to internal security with established reputation in the asked field, who has made significant contributions to the knowledge in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, to be substantiated by credentials in the research domain.
Professor
- An eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification(s) in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 research publications in the peer reviewed/ UGC CARE-LIST journals with ISSN number/ISBN Number and a total research score of 120 as per the criteria of UGC.
2. A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/college as Assistant Professor/Associate
Professor/Professor, and/or research experience at equivalent level at the University/National level institutions/industries with evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidate.
or
(i) An outstanding professional with Ph.D. in relevant/allied/applied disciplines from academics/research institutions/industries, who has made significant contributions to the knowledge in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline to be substantiated with documentary evidence.
Desirable :
(i) Specialization in Criminal and Security Laws/Procedural Laws.
