About The Conference:
The Center for Constitutional Law at DNLU is organizing a national conference titled “Transcending the Binary: Exploring Transgender Rights” to explore the legal, social, and cultural dimensions of transgender rights in India, aiming to provide a platform for critical discourse and advocacy.
Objective Of The Conference:
This conference aims to promote transgender rights among legal practitioners, scholars, activists, policymakers, and the broader community by fostering meaningful conversations, sharing insights, and generating actionable recommendations for societal inclusivity.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
- LANGUAGE: All submissions must be made in the English language only.
- ABSTRACT: The abstract should be between 300 and 500 words in length, outlining specific research issues and the planned presentation structure. It must clearly identify a research problem to be explored in the full paper and specify the relevant theme of the conference. Additionally, authors should provide 3-5 keywords.
- FULL PAPER: The final submitted paper should be between 4000 and 6000 words in
- length and must be submitted in MS Word Document format (.doc/.docx) only.
- Formatting specifications for both abstracts and full papers include:
- Font: Times New Roman
- Font Size: 12
- Line Spacing: 1.5
- Text Alignment: Justified
- Paper Size: A4
- Margins: 1 inch on all sides
SUBMISSION PROCESS: All submissions must be made through the provided Google

DEADLINES: The deadline for abstract submission is July 20, 2024. The deadline for full
paper submission is August 20, 2024.
REGISTRATION FEES:
- For working professionals: Rs. 2000
- For undergraduate and post-graduate students: Rs. 1000
- For DNLU students: Rs. 500
- NOTE: The fee is payable only after the abstract selection. Participants with selected abstracts will be notified via email.
