National Academy of Law Teachers, NLU, Delhi with The Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution, Pepperdine University is organising a two- day National Workshop on ADR Methods for Law Teachers on 20-21, October 2016.
The Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University School of Law is one of the world’s leading educational programs in the field of dispute resolution. Straus offers two tracks of training – professional training programs and academic programs in dispute resolution including the Certificate, Master’s (MDR) and LLM in Dispute Resolution. Straus provides education to law and graduate students, as well as mid-career professionals in areas of mediation, negotiation, arbitration, international dispute resolution and peacemaking.
National Law University, Delhi has established National Academy of Law Teachers (NALT) to improve the quality of teaching and research abilities of the Law teachers. It provides training in the areas like entry level orientation, curriculum development, teaching and learning, research and innovation, ICT and digital research.
You are requested to nominate faculty members from your Institutions to attend this workshop. The interested faculty members can also attend the Global Conference on National Initiative towards Strengthening Arbitration and Enforcement in India (21-23, October 2016) at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. We have arranged for the participation of the faculty members in the above-mentioned Conference with the organisers without any registration fee. The registration fee is Rs. 1.500/- (participants from Delhi) and Rs. 3500/- (Participants from outside Delhi).
