About the Organisation
PCGT came into existence in the year 2002 when good and straight-forward officers were being humiliated by the political leadership.
About the Fellowship
Public Concern for Governance Trust (PCGT) is a registered trust founded by Mr. Julio Ribeiro, Dr. R.K. Anand and late Mr. B.G. Deshmukh to increase public participation and activism towards creating a more transparent and efficient governance system.
In order to sensitize the youth in ethical values with an emphasis on good governance, PCGT invites fresh graduates in any discipline for a one-year, full-time, paid commitment towards the Good Governance Fellowship program. Through this program, the Fellow will get exposed to the projects and activities undertaken by PCGT, including Youth For Governance, RTI/RTS and KuchAurr.
Duration and Nature of Fellowship
The duration of the Fellowship shall be one year, i.e. from January 1, 2020, to December 31, 2020, subject to a maximum extension of 6 months based on the performance of the candidate.
The Good Governance Fellow will work with PCGT (Mumbai Office) purely on a contractual basis and the Fellowship will not culminate into or guarantee any employment opportunity with PCGT. The Fellow shall receive a fixed stipend of INR 20,000/- per month, subject to applicable deductions.

Eligibility
Fresh graduates in any discipline showing leadership potential and strong desire to work for transparency and accountability in governance are eligible to apply for the Fellowship
Selection Process
Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the program by emailing their CV and Covering Letter to publicconcern@gmail.com with the subject of the email being “Application for PCGT Good Governance Fellowship 2020” on or before November 30, 2019.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview at PCGT Office in the month of December. The exact date and time slot of the interview will be communicated to the shortlisted candidates on or before 6th December 2019.
The decision of the PCGT Board of Trustees in the selection process shall be final and binding on all applicants.
