Since its inception in 2015, the University has strived to provide academic courses such as BA. LL.B.(Hons.) five-year integrated programme, one-year LL.M. programme in Corporate and Commercial Laws, Maritime Law, and Constitutional Law, LL.M. (Professional), LL.M (Investment and Security Laws) in association with National Institute of Securities Markets, SEBI, M.A. (Mediation and Conflict Resolution), Post Graduate Diploma Programs.
Concerning the Program
- In today’s society, disagreements are unavoidable, necessitating the use of a powerful conflict resolution mechanism to ensure that justice is served. Courts, Tribunals, and Alternative Conflict Settlement mechanisms make up India’s dispute resolution system (including Arbitration, Mediation, Conciliation, Lok Adalats, etc.).
- Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) techniques have been shown to be more effective than litigation since the former allows for a faster resolution of disagreements and aids in the restoration of relationships between disputants.
Goals of the Course
- Participants will learn the foundations of arbitration and mediation as a means of dispute settlement.
- To provide insight into the functional aspects of employing these dispute resolution tools as well as current difficulties.
- Develop approaches and skills for using these ADR procedures effectively.
The Course’s Duration
- The Program will run for one year, from April 20, 2022 to March 20, 2023. The programme will be divided into two semesters, each with eight papers (including one Research Project).
- The programme is expected to take three years to complete. Otherwise, re-registration under the university’s terms and conditions is required.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent Degree in any discipline from any recognized University or Candidates appearing for the final year examination of Graduation are also eligible to apply
- Candidates who have completed three years of their 5 years integrated LL.B Degree Programme in Law are also eligible to apply.
- Course is open to learners of all age and all discipline.

Meditation Practice and Styles (4 Credits)
Psychology and Mediation (3 Credits)
Drafting, Witness Examination, and Communication Skills. (Credits 2) Research Project (3 Credits)
At the end of the course, the participants will get certified as MNLU Mumbai accredited Mediators and Arbitrators

Admission Procedure
Direct Admission is subject to fulfilment of the eligibility criteria for the said course. A confirmation email will be sent to the participant on successful submission of the following documents confirming to have fulfilled the eligibility criteria:

Refund of Fees Procedure: If a candidate decides to opt-out of the Program within 7 days of payment, ₹30,000 will be refunded after the deduction of administrative charges.
