Opportunities for law students:-1st Kautilya Society HNLU Essay Competition 2021 on Law & Public Policy-Submit by Sep 27

Hidayatullah National Law University, Raipur, and the Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy signed a Memorandum of Understanding in November 2020, resulting in the formation of the Kautilya Society. The Society strives to encourage student participation in legislative processes in order to create better legislation. By promoting public policy as a realistic career path among young law students, we hope to democratise access to public policy training in general, and legislative writing and analysis in particular.

Relevant Themes

The theme of the competition has been set as “Governance & Policy Challenges in a PostCovid Era”. A few indicative sub-themes are provided below. Do note that this is not an exhaustive list, and participants are free to write on any topic as long as it is within the ambit of the aforementioned central theme.

  • Judicial Reforms (Access to Justice)
  • Labour Law Reforms
  • Financial Laws 
  • Inclusivity in Digital Education
