For every college student, all summer should be a new challenge. For academic, as well as personal development, The Network for International Law Students is organizing an International Summer School. This year, the NILS International Summer School takes place in Bucharest, Romania, from 9th to 13th of July 2018.

NILS is an international nonprofit organization, linking law students and young lawyers from 26 countries across the world (India, Ireland, Nigeria, the United Kingdom, Romania, etc.). We promote social responsibility in the field of law by increasing opportunities for students to learn about other legal systems worldwide. One of our many projects is the Summer Law School, organized every year.

This year’s theme of the Summer School is “Competition & Antitrust” . The activities will be held at the Faculty of Law, University of Bucharest and Nicolae Titulescu University, and will include conferences, trainings, workshops and lectures from the most influential speakers in the field. We have partnerships with important law firms from Romania (Suciu Popa, Maravela & Associates, Wolftheiss etc.). We will also organize cultural visits giving participants the opportunity to enjoy Bucharest’s beauty. Each activity will be based on the ramifications of the main theme.

The main goal of our project is to cooperate with law students worldwide, creating a better coherence between NILS chapters. Moreover, we expect to collect as much knowledge as possible in the Antitrust & Competition field.
