Centre for Arbitration and mediation has been established to generate awareness amongst the law students and also to ensure that consistent and high quality research is carried in the field of ADR. The ultimate object of the Centre is to serve as a platform for imparting professional training to the students in the field of Arbitration and Mediation.
ABOUT RAJIV GANDHI NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF LAW (RGNUL), PUNJAB
Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Punjab, was established by the State Legislature of Punjab by passing the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab Act, 2006 (Punjab Act No. 12 of 2006). The Act incorporated a University of Law of national stature in Punjab, thereby fulfilling the need for a Centre of Excellence in legal education in the modern era of globalization and liberalization.
ABOUT THE CENTRE FOR ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION (CADR), RGNUL, PUNJAB
The University has also set up the Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution (CADR) which has been established to promote students’ and researchers’ interest in Alternative Dispute Resolution constituting dispute resolution methods like Arbitration, Negotiation, Mediation and Conciliation. The ultimate objective of the Center is to strengthen ADR mechanism in the country by emerging as a platform for students to further their interests in the field.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
ABSTRACT: The abstract should not exceed 300 words and must be accompanied by a cover page stating the following:-
- Sub-theme
- Title of the Paper
- Name of the author(s)
- E-mail address
- Postal address and Contact Number
FULL RESEARCH PAPER
- The paper should not exceed 6000 words (exclusive of footnotes).
- There can be only an author and one co-author. Inclusion of more than one co-author will result in automatic disqualification.
- The main text should be in Times New Roman with font size 12 and spacing of 1.5.
- The footnotes should be in Times New Roman, font size 10 with single line spacing.
- One inch margins on all sides should be maintained.
- Citation style: Bluebook 19th

Note:
All submissions must be the author’s original and unpublished work. Any amount of Plagiarism will attract immediate disqualification.
No certificate shall be issued in absentia.
After the seminar, ten best papers will be published in a book.
The full paper must be emailed to seminar@geeta.edu.in with the subject as “SUBMISSION OF FULL PAPER FOR NATIONALSEMINAR” on or before 18th March 2020.

ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation facility will not be provided to the participants. However, the Institution will provide the contact number of nearby hotels and guest houses.
