About Oriental School of Law

About the 1st National Article Writing Competition, 2020

As we all can witness that the condition all around the world is deteriorating due to COVID-19 and almost everyone including students is confined to their homes.

Oriental School of Law invites the young minds to pen down their views to participate in the Article Writing Competition, on any one of the topics mentioned below. This article writing competition provides an exclusive opportunity to write down their thoughts and to bring a change through their views and expressions.

Eligibility

  •  Students pursuing their Undergraduate course from any Institution/College/University in India are eligible to participate; or
  •  Students pursuing their Postgraduate course from any Institution/College/University in India are eligible to participate; or
  • Students pursuing their M.Phil. / Ph.D. Scholars from any Institution/College/University in India are eligible to participate.

Important Dates

  •  Deadline for registration: 20th May, 2020
  •  Deadline for submission: 5th June, 2020
  • Declaration of result: 15th June, 2020

Topic

  • Ageism in workplace.
  •  ‘Gramodaya’ (development of villages) is a prerequisite for development of India.
  •  Students protest and the effects of it on their education.
  •  Impact of COVID-19 on environment in future
  •  COVID-19: Strengthen Family Bonds Versus Domestic Conflict and Violence.

Awards and Merit

  •  Best Paper: INR 3100/- + Certificate of Merit
  •  2nd Best Paper: INR 2100/- + Certificate of Merit
  •  3rd Best Paper: INR 1100/- + Certificate of Merit
  •  All the Participants will receive a Certificate of Participation.

Submission Deadline

  •  Participants must send in their submissions before 11:59 P.M on the 05th of June, 2020 to varalikashrivastava@orientaluniversity.in
  •  Any articles received after the deadline shall not be given any consideration.

Registration Process

  •  The registration fee shall be Rs. 100/- (One Hundred) for each participant.
  •  The participants have to pay registration fee via any of the below-mentioned payment mode.
  •  After registration, participants need to fill the particulars in the Google Form.
