Who Is The Organiser?

Symbiosis Law School (SLS), Hyderabad is cocooned in the upcoming educational zone with state of art infrastructure catering impending needs of student community.It share expertise in imparting quality legal education through competent and well qualified teaching staff, techno-driven research culture, Internationalization, centers of excellence, training and skill enhancement programmes, moot courts and the like. SLS, Hyderabad offers five-year integrated undergraduate programmes like Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (BA LL.B) and Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Laws (BBA LL. B) to cater to varied needs of the profession.

The Centre for Corporate and Competition Law (C.C.C.L.) was established in 2018 as a student-run centre with the goal of providing a forum for the students to explore and learn more about the complexities of Corporate and Competition Law, as well as to prepare them for the corporate world. CCCL aims to educate students about current business developments while also offering a conduit for members to network and collaborate in a corporate law community. The goal of CCCL is to enhance outstanding corporate knowledge and competition law research.

What Are The Details Of The Competition?

  • Objective: The event aims to provide students with a better understanding of Corporate Law, Mergers, and Amalgamation and to encourage the participants to think outside the box with the situation at hand and the scenario in which they are put in and will be pushed to their fullest capabilities to assess the situation and work accordingly.
  • Date of the event: 6th-7th May 2023
  • Mode: Online mode on Zoom Platform
  • Last date of registration: 30th April 2023
  • Eligibility: Students duly enrolled and pursuing 3-year or 5-year undergraduate law courses and students of finance courses are allowed to participate.
  • Maximum No. of Team: 24 (Students shall register in teams of two through registration form given below and shall be selected on a first-come, first-serve basis).

  • Registration fee: Rs 1500/- per team
  • Team Composition: Each Team shall consist of 2 students, who must be enrolled in their Institute at the time of the competition. The students are allowed to form teams within the same institute as well as Cross Institute teams too.

    • Winner – ₹ 12,000/-
    • Runner up – ₹9,000/-

    • 24th April, 2023 – Last date for Seeking Clarification
    • 25th April, 2023 – Publication of Clarifications (If any)
    • 1st May, 2023 – Submission of Strategy
    • 6th and 7th May 2023 – Dates of the Competition

What Are The Important Instructions Related To The Competition?

  • A student may register for LE DILEMMA within the stipulated date and time, as mentioned in the schedule announced.
  • Failure on the part of a participant and/or team to submit strategy after six hours of the deadline has lapsed for any reason whatsoever will be regarded as a withdrawal of participation from LE DILEMMA.
  • Failure on the part of a participant and/or team to be present on the day of oral round for any reason whatsoever will be regarded as a withdrawal of participation from LE DILEMMA.
  • Every team is required to prepare a submission of their strategy. The page limit for the strategy shall be 4 pages. Teams should submit their strategy at cccl@slsh.edu.in with the subject – TC __Strategy
  • In case of plagiarism, the strategy shall not be evaluated, and the team may even be disqualified based on the circumstances.
  • Non-compliance with the required standards and rules shall attract deductions.
