About College:
New Law College, Pune established in 1978. Our college achieves ‘A’ grade University status by ministry of HRD.
We have law programmes like 5years BA LLB (Hons)/BBA LLB (Hons.) integrated course, 3 years LLB course, LLM and various diploma courses.
Faculties:
The faculty includes experienced professors from different backgrounds and we mostly have guest lectures for which experts various field, judges, social activists and practicing lawyers are invited. Our faculty available in college till 5pm at the evening ready to clear every doubt. They give their best to cultivate our minds and to make us what we think to be after pass out.
Student culture activities:
There are all kinds of extra-curricular activities and lecture organized in every week in campus. There are active student’s groups discussing various social or contemporary issues.
From past few years, our Cultural team is consistently being declared as winning team. It had won many competitions from singing to street play. Cultural cell also host an annual Cultural fest in the form of Abhinay.
Every year Inter school sports fest organized by Bharati Vidyapeeth in which all the schools from BVP participates in various sports like Cricket, Carom, Chess, Basketball etc.
Placement:
Our college offer career management service opportunities that provide students the necessary insight and facilities to develop their technical competence and leadership skills and thus facilitate a match between recruiter, expectations and student aspirations. Student placed with average package of 4-5 lacs. The student have been placed in various reputed international law firms, corporate houses, law commissions, courts, banks and other financial entities.
Other things:
There are various things which are best in our law school. Our college organized various intra-moot court competitions in every year.
Our college organized Justice P.N Bhagwati international moot court competition on human rights every year. Our college also organized Surana and Surana National Trial Advocacy Moot Court competition every year. They try to make all things possible for the students.
