About the Lokpal
The Lokpal is the first institution of its kind in independent India, established under the Lokpal and Lokayuktas Act 2013 to inquire and investigate into allegations of corruption against public functionaries who fall within the scope and ambit of the above Act.
The Lokpal of India is committed to address concerns and aspirations of the citizens of India for clean governance. It shall make all efforts within its jurisdiction to serve the public interest and shall endeavor to use the powers vested in it to eradicate corruption in public life.
Job Description
The Lokpal of India is opening job posts of the following positions:
- Registrar
- Deputy Registrar

- Registrar: 1 (one)
- Deputy Registrar: 1 (one)
Eligibility
Registrar: Officers possessing a bachelor’s degree in law from Recognized University and holding: Analogues post on regular basis in the central Government or State Government of courts or Tribunals in the pay scale of Level-14 an officer of District and Session Judge rank in analogous pay scale of Joint Secretary of India.
Deputy Registrar: Officers possessing a bachelor’s degree in law from Recognized University and holding: Analogues post on regular basis in the central Government or State Government of courts or Tribunals; or
Post in Central Government or State Government or courts or Tribunals with five-year regular service in Pay Band – 3, Rs. 15600-39100/- with Grade pay of Rs. 6600/-(as per 6th CPC) i.e. level -11 in the pay Matrix (as per 7th CPC).
