Job Description
- Effectively triage reports of ethical and compliance concerns and the related investigations (e.g., review reports, designate issue types, refer to appropriate internal investigators, and assist in documenting case resolution)
- Professionally and discretely handle highly confidential and sensitive information
- Help in enhancing the Amex Ethics Hotline and the AEO
- Draft policies and procedures and the maintenance of the same
- Draft reporting content and cadence (e.g., ensure the key messages to relay to business and functional executives are being presented clearly and concisely)
- Assist in managing a 3rd party vendor relationship
- Communicate and market the Amex Ethics Hotline and the AEO to ensure awareness and understanding the roles of each
- Assess conflicts of interest disclosures
Qualifications and Skills Required
Required skills and background
- 3-5 years of experience is required
- Process-driven with great organizational skills and attention to detail and data
- Great interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills; written, oral, and listening skills
- Proficient at drafting effective presentations and PowerPoint decks
- Strong analytical skills
- Due to the nature of the information that will be handled, must show great emotional maturity and compassion towards others and situations they may be facing
- Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships at all levels of the organization
Education Requirement: Bachelors preferred
