IPF’s Live lecture on Reforms in Police and Criminal Justice by Hon’ble Justice Madan B Lokur, former Judge of the Supreme Court (Sep 22)

As in previous years, IPF will be observing  September 22 as its Foundation Day and Police Reforms Day. In view of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, IPF proposes to hold two online events on that day, as follows:

1. The IPF Foundation Day Lecture:  4:00 pm to 5:25 pm.  Hon’ble  Justice Madan B Lokur, former Judge of the Supreme Court has kindly consented to deliver the Foundation Day Lecture. The theme of the lecture is “Reforms in Police and Criminal Justice are crucial to safeguard the democratic rights of citizens”.
2. Discussion:  5:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Fourteen Years after the Supreme Court Verdict on Police Reforms, where do we stand? :                                                                                                           Faye D’Souza in conversation with Shri Prakash Singh, Chairman IPF and Smt Maja Daruwala, Senior Advisor CHRI.
