Sanchi Mehta, LawOF Intern
LawOF: Introduce yourself.
Answer: My name is Utkarsh Goel and I am currently pursuing LLB-3 Year Program.
LawOF: What made you chose LLB?
Utkarsh Goel: Since my school days, I had always been interested in law. When I did an extensive research about the details of the options , I realized that doing a LLB course would be more beneficial as the course covered company law and a law graduate can easily be appointed as a law officer of a company(if I wished to work in the corporate environment) . So, I chose the LLB course.

Utkarsh Goel: Currently I have just completed my 1st year at law and I am eagerly looking at all the aspects of this profession. I still have to decide as to what is going to be my specialization.

Interview with Tarushi Sharma, LLB Student By Sanchi Mehta, LawOF Intern
LawOF: Introduce yourself.
ANSWER: This is Tarushi Sharma, first year student of a law school. Born and brought up in New Delhi. Single child of parents who have always been there for me through all my thick and thins. An optimistic, innovative, observant and motivated person who has got few aspirations alive that keep me moving ahead and teach me to never quit.
LawOF: What made you chose LLB?
Tarushi Sharma: Legal profession demands immense hard work and wittiness to deal with situations and while handling cases. The importance of judiciary in our country cannot be discarded. And the need of people with good knowledge of legal system and intention of staying true to oneself has been there since ages. I as a person has always had an inclination towards this field. Those white shirts and trousers with a white neck band and a black coat have always made me eyes stuck at them. It might seem like being a lawyer is may be mere a fantasy for me that I am trying to achieve, but it is a lot more than that. My attributes such as, being able to express and demystify things, of questioning until I don’t get my doubts wither away are best suited to this profession.
LawOF: After completing LLB in which area you would like to do specialization?
Tarushi Sharma: Among the various areas for specialization in the field of law, i would like to go for corporate law. The reason being the following:
- The field of corporate law has always been my cup of tea, as I have always had more interest while studying about companies and the various laws to be abide by them.
- For the field of corporate law deals with not just the internal laws in any company or entity but it also involves compliance of laws in other areas too, hence this field won’t restrict my professional accessibility.
LawOF: Where do you see yourself after 5 years?
Tarushi Sharma: In the next 5 years, I see myself being stable in my career doing something in the field of corporate law, either an advocate, handling case in lower courts and all set to hit high court or may be working in a Law firm and trying to balance my career and other priorities in life.
