About Organization:  

Bachpan Bachao Andolan is the Indian organization who was founded in 1980 by Novel Laureate “Kailash Satyarthi”. The organization  works in favour of the children to eliminate child labour, child trafficking, and provide free education and also works towards rehabilitation of the children.

Main Task Work Profile:

Research  about various statue regarding child rights in India ,working in various commission and Dhawa Dal in the state

Work Environment at office:

People in BBA are very friendly and warm welcoming. Everyone was ready to help in case I got stuck somewhere and their behaviour made things lot more easy for me.

Stipend:

No stipend

First day at organization:  

Introduction to working of NGO, brief us about our task during Internship.

Best Part of Internship:

Best part was to go to Mukti Ashram just after a raid to rescue child labourers was conducted and got the rare opportunity to talk to rescued children first hand, to listen to their plight and to develop deeper into their minds and to search for reasons that led them to such a state. I got to counsel children over there and prepared background report of 10-12 of them and also interacted with chairperson of various commission  i.e  SC, ST, OBC, Child rights.

Biggest Lesson:

Nothing is more precious than your contribution toward humanity and it is the most precious thing a person can ever earn in his whole life.

One must do Internship in BBA for the betterment of the children and also for the society.
