The ADR Cell of USLLS, GGSIPU, is a faculty-cum-student-run forum that endeavors to foster and instill a vibrant culture of ADR amongst the student community. The cell aims to do so through meaningful engagement with field experts, and various stakeholders, while also organizing thought-provoking events. The ADR Cell is a research-oriented body that aims to disseminate information on the cutting-edge issues surrounding the field of ADR. Furthermore, the Cell has conducted various drives in the interest of legal awareness and legal aid.
About USLLS ADR Blog
The USLLS ADR Blog is an initiative of the University School of Law of Legal Studies, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. USLLS ADR Blog believes that sustained academic deliberation is required to ensure that the field of Alternative Dispute Resolution Law grows continuously, and becomes the mainstream solution to disputes.
The aim is to provide a conducive platform that fosters discussions and deliberations about ADR by academicians, researchers, students, and practitioners. They hope to promote the culture of ADR and acquire the viewpoints of the various stakeholders in the field.
What Are The Details Of The Opportunity?
- Eligibility:
- All UG law students currently enrolled in 3-year or 5-year LL.B. as well as LL.M. and Ph.D. (Law) students are eligible for this internship.
- Preference will be given to law students based in Delhi and with a commitment to social responsibility as the interns will be required to travel to various districts of Delhi to conduct the outreach work.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Responsibilities:
- Interns are required to conduct outreach programs in various districts of Delhi, focusing on Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) in law, legal aid, and contemporary legal issues for the month of July 2024. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in legal outreach, research, and writing. The main responsibilities of an intern are listed below:
- Visit designated institutions such as Old Age Homes, NGOs for children and women, Schools & Colleges, etc. in Delhi NCR to raise awareness amongst the community about legal aid, ADR in the legal field, and contemporary legal issues.
- Conduct surveys and outreach using pre-designed questionnaires.
- Prepare weekly reports with pictures and write-ups documenting outreach activities.
- No. of Vacancies: 40 interns.
- Duration of Internship: 1 month (July 2024).
- Mode of Internship: Offline (on-site) at University School of Law and Legal Studies, GGS Indraprastha University, C-Block, Main Road, Sector 16 C, Dwarka, Delhi, 110078. Interns will also be required to visit various districts in Delhi as a part of the outreach program.

- Applications will be reviewed by the Editorial Board of the USLLS ADR Blog. Only the shortlisted candidates will be contacted for further assessment or interviews.
- Note:
- No remuneration shall be provided. This is an unpaid internship program.
- Interns must report to the designated institution/college campus during working hours. (Mon- Fri |10am-4pm).
- Interns must be free from college duties and academic responsibilities and must contribute 20 hours/week.
- A maximum of two leaves would be allowed for the duration of the internship period.
