About the organisation
Youth United for Vision and Action (YUVA) was established in the year 2016. YUVA is a youth-based youth run pedestal upon which the effigy of Academic, Social and Cultural endeavours are carried out.
Niti Manthan is an initiative to motivate and inspire young students on various socio-legal themes and to guide them traverse the righteous path throughout the endeavour of their personal and professional lives. By having a direct interaction and by exchange of views with experienced legal minds.
Started with monthly lecture series and research projects, Niti Manthan has now started specialized research centres dealing with various aspects of law and policy.
The Niti Manthan centre for Employment and Labor laws is one such research centre. Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh is the largest trade union conglomerate working in India.
About the internship
Niti Manthan’s Center for Employment and Labor Laws is opening a Research Internship Program.
The researchers shall be expected to research ( both doctrinal and empirical) related to labour policies, drafting of the bills, regulations and other legal drafts, advising the stakeholders, including the Union Ministries on the matters pertaining policy framework. the project shall also be guided by the National team of the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh.
Number of Interns required
There is a slot for 3 research interns.

North Avenue, New Delhi and Deendayal Upadhyay Marg, New Delhi, India
Who can apply
A student pursuing LLB (3yr or 5yr course), LLM, or having an interest in policy planning.
Duration
The research shall start from the 2nd week of July. Minimum commitment expected is for one month. Extensions shall be granted on the basis of work delivered.
Perks
Perks like certificate and exposure to work with the bureaucrats, advisers to the government, etc shall be provided. Initially, No stipend shall be provided.
