An initiative of the students of Maharashtra National Law University, Mumbai under the direction of Prof. Bhawani Prasad Panda, Former Vice Chancellor of Maharashtra National Law University and Mr. K. K. Sharma, Managing Partner, KK Sharma Law Offices,
Law League is starting its own non-profit social initiative and shall be conducting research projects focusing on different social issues existing in India
About Internship
The Project shall be focussed on the problem and mass level deficiencies of sanitation and water pollution in the vicinity of Chandigarh, the Capital of Punjab and Haryana, home to severaleminent bureaucrats and political leaders. The project shall undertake an empirical study and analytical of the substandard conditions of sewage disposal and treatment in Chandigarh, attempting to formulate several problem-solving mechanisms.
The project shall be conducted by seven student volunteers under the guidance of Mr. Sunil Mallan, Senior Advocate (Justice for you Law Firm), Mrs Saumya Uma (Assistant Professor, School of Law, Governance and Citizenship, Ambedkar University, Delhi University) and Mr. Rahul Sapkal (Assistant Professor, Maharashtra National Law University, Mumbai). The students shall be given experience of empirical research and exposure to practical working patterns of government offices and Court. Individuals with inclination towards social and environmental justice shall find in this initiative a great platform to explore their interests.

- Prior empirical research experience
- Legal and academic writing skills
- Legal research expertise
- Communication and advocacy skills
- Leadership skills
- History showcasing moral force of character and interest in fellow beings.
