SHORT DESCRIPTION
Welcome to the Indians 4 Social Change Website!
We offer internship programs for high school students to adults in journalism. Our editors will help you write op-ed style pieces and help you find your voice in writing. At no point will we ever ask you take an angle that you don’t want to or take something you have written and change the opinions. Our goal is to get the voice of people around the world heard. We encourage anyone who is passionate about any social issue to submit work and use our platform as a mechanism to lead your own social movement.
Position
All internships last three months!
All internships with United 4 Social Change are unpaid. We are also going to hire some part-time writers to help us create unique content, but the internship is a prerequisite for it.
1. Weekly Writer

We are currently looking for weekly writers. You will be expected to write once a week.
2. Writing Internship

We are currently looking for interns. You will be expected to write twice a week. You will receive a letter of recommendation and certificate upon completion of the internship.
3. Editor Internship
Highly motivated students should consider applying for this position. You will be responsible for managing a set of writers. This includes managing publishing schedules, re-reading work before it hits the Editor-in-Chiefs desk, and assigning new topics. You will also be responsible for writing once a week. Our senior editors will help you learn how to write editorial-style pieces and help you find your voice in writing.
Time: You will be required to commit at least 4 hours a week to this internship. We are flexible about when you do the work, but you must commit to do it.
Deadline: We take applications at any time, but we start work with new interns on the first of the month.
Requirements: You must write an article every week, and edit 5 articles a week to fulfill the requirements of the program. You will be required to submit work by every Sunday. You can submit it earlier if you wish.
You will receive a letter of recommendation and certificate upon completion of the internship.
