Call for Interns
The Centre for Laws on Gender and Sexuality is keen to develop a robust and rewarding internship programme that will provide meaningful exposure to the complexities and nuances, in particular, of the conception of sexual consent post Criminal Law Amendment Act, 2013. Towards that aim, we are pleased to invite application for a one month internship programme.
About the Centre
The Centre for Laws on Gender and Sexuality aims to engage in original, empirical as well as doctrinal research on the intersection of law and gender studies, with a specific focus on the understanding of the sexual.
The research that the Centre will engage in will be strictly interdisciplinary. In the course of the above research, we aim to meet specific targets. The first target of the Centre shall be a study of rape cases as the perplexity of sexual consent is most apparently manifested in criminal law.
Responsibilities
According to the requirements of the Centre, candidates may be asked to undertake tasks that will involve extensive desk research on each of the topics identified, undertaking a comprehensive literature review on issues and case law research on decisions of various courts in India.
Eligibility
The internship is open to students enrolled in the 4th or 5th year of a five year and 2nd or 3rd year of three year undergraduate or post-graduate programme in law.

Remuneration
