Internship Opportunity at Office of Shree Dilip Ghosh, Member of Parliament: Applications Open

This is a chance to work closely with grassroots level policy work, implementation as well as campaign strategy and communications. The internship will be a paid one. The ability to read, write and speak in Bengali is an added advantage but not a bar to applying.

  • Legal: you will be expected to do legal research and draft out notices as well help in briefing lawyers as well as work on bills and policies. You will also be expected to file RTIs and do other work.
  • Graphics Designing: You will be expected to help with Graphics Designing and videography. Make information snippets, posters, edit videos etc and look after social media.
  • Political campaign: Analyse trends, groundwork on policy implementation. If you are made to travel you will be reimbursed and your expenses will be taken care of.
  • Social outreach and communications. Design and implement new programs which will help reach out and help take last-mile delivery to people.

Duration

Working hours would be between 10 am to 7 pm. Interns can work from home or work from the office. Students can be from any batch. Those who want to apply can apply in any single one of those roles or all of them.

Eligibility

Applicants can be from any course at any University and from any year of study.
