ABOUT THE SEMINAR
Alternative Dispute Resolution is a mechanism which acts as a substitute for litigation. ADR provides various modes of settlement including, arbitration, conciliation, mediation, negotiation and lok Adalat. Alternate Dispute Resolution is to bring about resolution of disputes between parties, minimize costs and reduce the burden of the courts. In India more than 20 million cases are pending in the courts of India and the use of ADR can reduce the burden on courts. This workshop is with the objective of creating awareness about blending judicial and non-judicial dispute resolution mechanism.
The positives and the effectiveness of mediation and net economic benefit of mediation shall be
