First International Moot Court Competition on Insolvency in India, 28-29 October 2017 @ National Law University, Delhi.
The National Law University(NLU), Delhi, in collaboration with INSOL India and Society of Insolvency Practitioners of India (SIPI), supported by the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) will be organising the first International Moot Court Competition on Insolvency in India, 28-29 October 2017.
Format
The format of the competition will be a mock corporate resolution and liquidation process. Insolvency is a sophisticated and complex economic law. It is one of the most critical components of the financial architecture of any country involving a wide range of stakeholders. Its knowledge, learning and experience benefit a wide range of stakeholders, in particular, lawyers, in-house counsels, academics, regulators and policy makers. It is critical that the law students are educated and trained in this field. The international moot competition on corporate insolvency law seeks to educate the law students and provide them exposure and training in the field of corporate insolvency law.
