LitFest 6.0, Literary & Cultural Fest at Aligarh Muslim University [March 6-8, 2020]
AMU LitFest 6.0 is the 2020 edition of the annual Literary & Cultural Festival organised by the University Literary and Debating Club of the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU). LitFest is the flagship event of the club. With the amalgamation and interactions of intellectuals and authors from across the country, the previous five iterations of AMU LitFest have been an exhilarating experience, full of fascinating panels and speeches.
The festival is a diverse celebration of literature and mass communication, in all its forms. The festival attracts an audience from all across the city, transcending the boundary of the University. With people from diverse areas and ages coming together and talking about the issues of the present day and age, the festival is truly a melting pot of culture.
Workshops to teach students the ins and outs of various forms of writing and public speaking are also conducted as part of the festival, which rounds out the complete educational experience. The prominent guests at the previous editions of LitFest have included dignitaries like Harsh Mandar, Sagarika Ghose, Siddharth Varadarajan, Tushar Gandhi, Swara Bhaskar, and many more.
