About the University

The ICFAI University, Dehradun was established under the provision of the ICFAI University Act, 2003, (Act No.16 of 2003), enacted by the state of Uttarakhand, India. The University is recognised by the University Grants Commission under Sec 2(f) of UGC Act 1956. The University is a member of the Association of the Commonwealth Universities, London and Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi.

The University is located in Selaqui, Dehradun, Uttarakhand. Since its inception, the University has maintained the standard and decorum in the educational environment.

ICFAI Law School (formerly known as Faculty of Law), a constituent of the ICFAI University, Dehradun is established with an objective of developing a new generation of legal professionals through the comprehensive and contemporary body of knowledge integrating law with Management/Humanities.

About the FDP

The Faculty Development Programme (FDP) in art of teaching in general and in core areas of law in particular, is organised by The ICFAI Law School, The ICFAI University, Dehradun. This program is designed to train faculty members of the Law in formulating innovative teaching and research skills, most importantly to familiarize them with the practical aspect in the field.

This would enable the faculties to connect the theoretical knowledge with the practical knowledge provided by the Legal Experts from the field. The aim of the FDP is to facilitate the faculties to be able to deliver a lecture which would consist of the practical applicability of the various laws and help students to have an insight into the challenges in the application of laws in the practical world.

ELIGIBILITY

The FDP is open to Faculty Members of Law (Regular/ ad-hoc/temporary) and also Research Scholars (PhD Pursuing) from any Law University/College/Institution.

Registration Details

The Registration is Free of Cost.

The Registration shall be done on a first come first serve basis.

The last date for registration is 5th June 2020 by 6:00 P.M.

  • E-certificate shall be provided to only those participants who have registered and attended all the sessions.
  • E-certificate shall be sent to you on your registered e-mail id within a fortnight.
  • E-Certificates shall be provided to only those Participants who shall Login on the Online Platform (FDP Sessions) with their registered names (as per the Google Forms).
