What Is The Faculty Of Law, University Of Delhi?
The University of Delhi is a Central University functioning under the Act of Parliament. It is recognized as an institution of national importance by the Constitution of India (Seventh Schedule, List-I, Entry-63). It was established in 1924.
The Faculty of Law was established in 1924 by the University of Delhi and is an accredited legal institution by the Bar Council of India for its LL.B. degree. The Faculty of Law has a single department – the Department of Law that conducts LL.B. Classes; whereas LL.M. and Ph.D. are taken care of by the Faculty of Law.
What Are The Details Of The Opportunity?
On 4th August 2023, The Faculty of Law, University of Delhi released their official notification on their official website and introduced UG Five-Year Integrated Law Courses i.e. B.A. LL.B.(Hons.) and B.B.A LL.B. (Hons.) from this academic year (2023-2024). They have received approval from The Bar Council of India for the above-mentioned UG Law Courses on 26.07.2023 with its approval of 60 seats for B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and 60 seats for B.B.A LL.B. (Hons.). On merit bases in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) UG 2023 result, the Admission to B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) will take place and the classes for these courses will be held at Faculty of Law, Kanad Bhawan, North Campus, University of Delhi. The online application for admission to B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and BBA LL.B. (Hons.) courses will be announced by the University on their official website soon.
