What Is The National Law University Delhi?
The National Law University Delhi under the aegis of The National Academy of Law Teachers (NALT) & the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) invites applications from eligible candidates for an offline, in-person ‘Faculty Development Programme in International Law’ from 12 February to the 17th February at National Law University Delhi’s campus.
The course is designed to kindle interest and foster critical inquiry into the topics pertaining to the domain of international law. The programme focuses on themes that are contemporary, relevant and scarcely included in regular curriculum and teaching-learning process. The course is designed to dedicate each day to one specific theme.
What Are The Details Of The Opportunity?
- Theme: The themes selected for this programme respectively are:
- International Law Teaching Pedagogy,
- Theory and Practice of International Law,
- Public International Law,
- International Trade Law,
- International Investment Law,
- International Humanitarian Law etc.
- Eligibility: Teachers/Instructors/Ph.D Researchers/Researchers/Lawyers/Government Officials interested in teaching researching on themes relating to International Law are invited to apply
- No. of seats: A total number of 40 participants will be accepted into the course. Applications will strictly be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. To encourage participation of outstation candidates limited accommodation (maximum 20, on a double sharing basis) can be made available on the NLU Delhi campus.
- Details: The Course will be held over 6 days (12 Feb – 17th Feb, 2024), with a total of 15 sessions over approximately 6 hours each day. The programme will culminate on February 17 by a Panel Discussion on the topic, ‘India and the Shaping of International Law’.

- Keeping in mind the International travel issues, the Programme is made online for Foreign participants with the fees of Rs 15,000. All the other registration formalities remain the same.
- Rs. 15,000/- (including accommodation, three meals, refreshments, and Enriched course material on International Law) and Rs.8,500/- (without accommodation but inclusive of lunch, refreshments and
- Enriched course material on International Law). Accommodation will only be provided on a twin-sharing basis, and will not be provided to participants residing in Delhi.
