What Is Vice-Chancellor Internship Scheme (VCIS) 2023?
Vice-Chancellor Internship Scheme (VCIS), Delhi University is a 6-month part-time internship program for regular students of the university. It is a method to intertwine holistic knowledge with the innovative avenues of earning while learning the nitty gritty of academics and administration.
Eligible candidates can register for DU Vice Chancellor Internship Scheme 2023 through Delhi University’s Dean of Students’ Welfare Office. The internship will be of approximately 8-10 hours per week, with a maximum duration of six months from the date of commencement.
What Are The Details Of The Opportunity?
- Eligibility:
- All bonafide regular students of University of Delhi studying in any course/stream at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels are eligible to apply for Internship programmes.
- Note: First year/ First Semester students of UG & PG are not eligible for the Part-time internship.
- Duration:
- Part-time Internship is for a flexible 8 – 10 hours per week. (Stipend Rs. 5,250.00 per month- subject to approval).
- The period of Part-time internship shall not exceed six (06) months under any circumstances from the time of joining (tentatively 01 November, 2023).
- Note: Students who have already availed VCIS-2022 (Summer/Part-time) are not eligible for VCIS: Part-time Internship 2023
- Stipend Offered: INR 5,250/- per month

- Candidate must upload a ‘Letter of Recommendation’ from their Principal/ Head of the Department/ Institution/ College/ Centres on the letterhead (duly stamped and signed). - Candidate must bring the ‘Letter of Recommendation’ from their Principal/ Head of the Department/ Institution/ College/ Centres on the letterhead (duly stamped and signed) during the interview for the Internship. The selection will be strictly based on the interview and letter of recommendation.
- Last date to register: 4th October 2023
- Certificate: A certificate from the Dean of Students’ Welfare at the end of the internship tenure, subject to the appraisal report from the concerned employing Department/ Centre/ Institute.
