The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences was established under the WBNUJS Act, of 1999. NUJS is considered one of the best among the elite national law schools in India built on the five-year law degree model proposed and implemented by the Bar Council of India.
About the Journal
The ‘International Journal of Legal Studies and Research (IJLSR) has been established in the year 2012. The IJLSR is an online e-journal and is managed by the School of Technology, Law and Development (STLD) of NUJS.
The purpose of introducing this online e-journal is to reach widely to every reader interested in law and legal research, by way of open access system through the internet and disseminate and share ideas and knowledge of legal studies and research all over the world.
Therefore, the write-up available in this e-journal is basically for educational and research reasons only and not for any financial profit. This online e-journal supports the idea of an Open Journal System (OJS) and would like to reach its readers through electronic media only.
About the Call for Papers
The Editorial Board of the IJLSR is inviting a long article/special article/short article from the legal academia for the March 2023 issue [Vol. 12 No. 1] under the following categories:
- Part A – Long Article:·

- Minimum Length (12000 words including footnotes).
- Part B – Special Article:·
- Any topic relating to legal studies and research.·
- Minimum Length (6000 words including footnotes).
