Relevant Theme

Given the 2020 revisions to the Competition Act and the influence of the COVID-19 pandemic on businesses and regulatory organisations, particularly the CCI, competition law has been a hot topic. Furthermore, the merger control regime is celebrating its tenth anniversary. This is an excellent time to revisit the evolution of this law and the influence it has had on many industries.

The issue of ‘Competition Law’ is the focus of this Special Issue of the NLS Business Law Review, which intends to stimulate and expand discussion on current developments and their potential consequences. It aims to investigate the contemporary legal landscape of competition law and what lies ahead.
