The Tamil Nadu State Council for Science and Technology (TNSCST) serves as a liaison between the Government of India and the State Government to initiate, supervise and conduct successful research by giving opportunities to rural, unemployed and economically backward researchers with the sole aim of promoting and inculcating quality research.

About the Seminar

  • Every April 26, it’s celebrated as World Intellectual Property Day to learn about the role that intellectual property (IP) rights play in encouraging innovation and creativity. World Intellectual Property 2022 recognizes the huge potential of young people to find new and better solutions that support the transition to a sustainable future.
  • This year the theme of World Intellectual Property Day is “IP and Youth: Innovating for a Better Future” and celebrates youth-led innovation and creativity.
  • Taking into consideration the theme for World IP Day: Department of IPL, IP cell & TNSCST Jointly organize National Seminar on April 23, 2022.

Further Details

  • Papers are invited from Academicians, Legal practitioners, Research Scholars and students on the issues related to the theme.
  • The original and unpublished papers will be considered for the presentation in the seminar.
  • The paper will be evaluated by the experts and selected papers will be published in the nex Volume of TNDALU- IPLR (Intellectual Property Law Review)

Note: It may be noted that the above-mentioned themes are only illustrative in nature and other related topics may also be included.

Submission Guidelines

  • It may be noted that the papers submitted will be subject to anti-plagiarism check, and the papers with plagiarized contents will be rejected.
  • Further all the papers will be subjected to double blind review. Only full papers submitted on or before the deadline shall be considered for presentation.
  • The author of selected paper will be given an opportunity to present the paper.
  • The abstract should not contain more than 250 words along with the particulars of the author including his/her email, contact number and the author’s address for correspondence.
  • The name of the Author, institution of affiliation should be given in a separate sheet.

Formatting Guidelines

  • The maximum limit of the paper is 5000 words (excluding footnotes). File type: MS Word, Page A4 Margins: 1’’ all sides, Font: Times New Roman Size 12 for the main body with 1.5 lines spacing and Times New Roman Size 10 with single line space for foot notes.
  • A uniform style (Blue Book 20th Edition) of citationmust be strictly adhered. The soft copy of the full papers should be sent to: ipcell2022@gmail.com.
