Agriculture Law and Economics (SALE), a centre of excellence at RGNUL, has been established with an objective of providing a platform for multidimensional analysis pertaining to research in economics and law, with special emphasis on legal, social, political and cultural paradigms.

Call for Papers

The School of Agriculture Law and Economics (SALE), Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab invites original contributions for the Working Paper Series – III on the subject “Digital Economy”.

Themes & Sub Themes

The sub-themes may include but are not limited to the following sub-themes:

  1. Coronovirus crisis amidst ‘Digital India’ Dream
  2. Digital Economy Report 2019: a critique
  3. Digital Economy vis-a-vis Data Localisation
  4. Cross Regulator Taskforce on Digital Economy
  5. Digitization of the Banking Sector: Hits and Misses
  6. The dark side of Internet Shutdowns
  7. Redefining the role of MSME sector in the times of Digital Economy
  8. Cyber security and Digitalisation
  9. Role of Mobile Phones in digitalisation of Economy
  10. Digital Economy: Highlight of Union Budget 2020-2021
  11. Is India ready for Digital trade war?

The contributions received shall be selected/shortlisted on the basis of analytical content, originality and contribution to the existing body of literature available. The compilation of the selected contributions shall later culminate into a book published with an ISBN number.

Eligibility

Contributions are invited from Students, Scholars, or Academicians pursuing any degree or course from any recognized University. (Co-authorship is permitted up to 2 authors).

Submission Guidelines

  • The contribution may expand up to 5000-6000 words (including footnotes).
  • Research methodology shall be in conformity with Harvard Bluebook, 20th Ed.
  • The contribution may include graphs, pictures, tables etc. as deemed appropriate.
  • Plagiarism will also be checked using the Turnitin software and high degree of plagiarism shall lead to disqualification of submission.
  • The content should adhere to the following format:
  • Font: Times New Roman
  • Font size: 12 pt size
  • Line spacing: 1.5
  • Footnotes: 10 pt size

The body of the e-mail must specify the name(s) of the author(s) along with the following details:

  • Title of the paper
  • College/Institute/University
  • The programme enrolled and year of study
  • Email address and contact number
  • The paper must be attached in ‘.doc’ or ‘.docx’ and ‘.pdf’ format.

Submission Deadline

The papers must reach via e-mail to sale@rgnul.ac.in with the subject “SALE Working Paper Series Submission” on or
before 30th April 2020, 11:59 P.M.

There is no registration fee. Contributors may send their papers via email at sale@rgnul.ac.in. on or before the last date of submission.
