Posted by

The RGNUL Student Research Review (RSRR) Publication is a biannual, student-run, blind peer-reviewed flagship journal based at Punjab’s Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law. It was established with the goal of encouraging black-and-white debates.

On the theme “Unboxing the Legal Potential of the Sports & Gaming Industry: Redesigning India’s Way of Playing,” the Editorial Board seeks comments from academics, practitioners, legal luminaries, and students.

India’s sports and gaming business is fiercely competitive, and it is rapidly expanding its global footprint. The sports and gaming industries have seen significant transformations in the previous few decades as a result of the cultural phenomena of conventional sports and the emergence of the internet and technology.

However, this has been accompanied with a slew of difficulties. In light of the Indian sports and gaming industry’s untapped potential, new problems and concerns, and the lack of a clear legal framework, RSRR intends to delve into the topic to assess and analyse the current policy framework in light of current events.

The main goal of this theme is to create a platform for legal research, intelligent commentary, and in-depth analysis that might bridge the gap between relevant legal developments in the sports and gaming sectors, and so improve the discourse around such stigmatised themes.
