The Centre for Corporate Governance is a research centre under the auspices of the National Law University in Jodhpur, dedicated to the study and advancement of corporate governance standards. In 2008, the Centre launched Journal on Governance (also known as ‘Journal on Corporation Law and Governance’) as a bi-annual journal to foster holistic study on subjects covered under the broad range of corporate law.

The Journal on Corporate Law & Governance [“JCLG”] demonstrates unwavering research, thought-provoking ideas, and high academic and intellectual standards. It provides a venue for critical inquiry on the intersection of current corporate law challenges from both an academic and a business perspective. The Journal is peer-reviewed and indexed in the famous legal databases SCC Online and Manupatra under the ISSN serial publication number 0976-0369. The Journal tries to evaluate and give feasible solutions, which may aid regulatory and policy decisions, in addition to analysing the different difficulties and challenges that affect the corporate sector. Scholarly discourses from eminent legal practitioners, academicians, research scholars, and students have appeared in prior issues. The winning essay of the famous Pranita Mehta Memorial Essay Writing Competition, sponsored by the Corporate Law Society, NLUJ, is also published in the magazine. The competition intends to spark in-depth debate and discussion about current topics in the field of corporate law. For access to prior editions, please go to our website.

For Volume V, Issue 1, the Journal’s Editorial Board encourages contributions of original articles, comments, and debate that fall within the journal’s objective and scope.
