The Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab publishes the RGNUL Financial and Mercantile Law Review (RFMLR), a bi-annual, student-run, double-blind peer-reviewed law journal. The journal was founded in 2014 and provides a platform for legal academics, practitioners, and students to contribute cutting-edge doctrinal, theoretical, and empirical research in the field of business and commercial law.
The RFMLR Blog is run by the RFMLR Editorial Board. The RFMLR Blog aims to provide a forum for the exchange of new ideas and the study of current business and commercial law topics. In addition to the RFMLR Call for Blogs (Open Theme), the Editorial Board issues theme-specific Calls for Blogs on a regular basis to further the conversation on certain topics of commercial law.

The Editorial Board invites blog submissions from legal practitioners, advisors, academics and law students on various areas of business and commercial laws such as corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, competition, insolvency, banking and insurance, capital markets, dispute resolution and ADR, international trade, investment funds, labour, employment, taxation, intellectual property, real estate, technology, media & telecommunication, and white-collar crimes, and other contemporary issues in financial and mercantile laws.
Submission Requirements
Articles, opinions, case comments, and short notes are all acceptable forms of submission.- Submissions that analyse or critique already published academic research on a topic or issue are also accepted.
A maximum of two writers can co-author a paper.
Submissions must be at least 1300 words long and no more than 1600 words long. For easier reading, longer paragraphs can be broken into two or three parts. Each part post, on the other hand, must be self-contained.
Instead of footnotes and endnotes, submissions must include hyperlinks in the body of the manuscript.
