What Is PES Modern Law College, Pune?

Progressive Education Society’s Modern Law College, Pune is one of the premier legal educational institutions in Maharashtra, situated close to the “Oxford of the East” Savitribai Phule Pune University. Established in 2003, Modern Law College has carved a niche for itself. Permanently affiliated with the Savitribai Phule Pune University, recognised by the Bar Council of India, certified by ISO 9001:2015, U/S 2(f) 12(B) of the UGC Act 1956, and accredited ‘A’ by NAAC Bengaluru, the college stands as one of the best law colleges in Pune.

All the courses are approved by Savitribai Phule Pune University, which include LL.B. (3 years), B.A. LL.B. and B.B.A.LL.B. (5 years), and Masters in Laws (LL.M.), along with various diploma programmes and certificate programmes. The college is also recognised as a Ph.D. Research Centre by Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune.

What Are The Details Of The Opportunity?

  • Eligibility: They would like to extend an invitation to scholars, academicians, practitioners, researchers, and students to contribute innovative and insightful articles that delve into the modern contemporary legal issues and their resolutions.
  • Last Date of submission of article: 22nd November 2023
  • Submission Guidelines:
    • The article must be original,nneither published nor under consideration for publication anywhere else.
    • The abstract length should be about 200 words, mentioning at least four keywords related to the article.
    • The recommended length of papers is 3,000 to 5,000 words, inclusive of tables and figures. Articles should be formatted in Times New Roman, Font Size 12, 1.5-line spacing, double-spaced paragraphs, and A4 portrait orientation with normal margins.
    • In order to ensure the work is original, plagiarism should be less than 15 percent for the whole article and less than 5 percent per source restriction.
    • Citations in the article should follow the referencing style used in Standard Indian Legal Citation
  • Other instructions:
    • Correspondence: The cover page should contain the title, the names and affiliations of all the authors, and their postal address, phone numbers, and email addresses (in the case of multiple authors, indicate the designated corresponding author).
    • Second Page: The second page should contain the article title, the abstract, and keywords.
    • Accepted Papers: The final decision on the acceptance or otherwise of the paper rests with the Editor/Editorial Board. The final draft may be subjected to editorial amendments to suit the journal’s requirements. The editor of PES Modern Research Journal, will inform the author(s) of the acceptance of the paper.
