What Is The Ahimsa Fellowship Programme?
The Ahimsa Fellowship programme aims at creating a network of effective animal protection leaders adept at working closely with state governments and district administrations to enforce animal protection laws in India. Ahimsa Fellows will be intensively trained to understand in-depth the existing legal and policy regime. They will also be encouraged and supported to take up advocacy efforts that complement their skill set and interests across the broad field of Animal Protection. They invite applications from passionate individuals who are motivated about contributing to the animal welfare/animal rights movement in India.
What Are The Details Of The Opportunity?
- Eligibility Criteria:
- Graduation degree in any discipline
- Good communication skills (English and a Second Local Language)
- Dedication to the cause of animal welfare/rights
- Persistence, lateral & innovative thinking
- Between 22 and 35 years old
- Be available to commit to the entire 9 Month duration of the program
- Indian Citizen
- Selection Process:
- Stage 1: Online Application Form
- Stage 2: Candidates shortlisted from Stage 1 will be invited for the Stage 2 Evaluation round
- Stage 3: Personal Interview
