Jindal Law and Humanities Review (JLHR) is organising the launch of its maiden issue on the 14th of November (Saturday) at 6.30 pm IST (1 pm GMT).
About Jindal Law and Humanities Review
Jindal Law and Humanities Review is a newly emerging peer-reviewed, student-led, inter-media journal that seeks to explore the relationship between law and humanities in a manner which is unhindered in both content and form by the norms of academic writing.
Jindal Law and Humanities Review hopes to do this by providing a platform for not just conventional academic essays but also, among other modes of creative expression, auto-ethnographies, poetry, artwork, and documentaries. Brought out by a dedicated team of editors from Jindal Global Law School, the journal uses the tools of social science to grapple with jurisprudence, constitutionalism, and the everyday realities of law.
About the Event
Jindal Law and Humanities Review’s first issue features an erudite and exciting line up of authors, including Arundhati Roy, Upendra Baxi, James Parker, Ather Zia, Dhiren Borisa, Oishik Sircar, Shals Mahajan, Rahul Rao, Jordy Rosenberg, Dolly Kikon, Vasuki Nesiah, Teesta Setalvad, Danish Sheikh, and Gnanavi Gummadi.
