About Essay Competition

SVKM’s Pravin Gandhi College of Law, Mumbai is organising an Annual Essay Competition, 2019.

The Constitutional Law & Policy Reform Society (CLPRS), in pursuance of this objective, presents the Annual Essay Competition 2019, an instrument in voicing ‘collective thought’. The topical realities of India are varied, and we have presented at your disposal chosen concerns that have tapped the attention, enthusiasm, regard and often riled up the people of our nation in this decade.

The CLPRS is a student concern that delves into constitutional, reformatory, and law-making initiatives and takes up exercises in pursuance of this idea.

Submissions must be restricted to 1,500 words, written in Times New Roman, font size 12 and normal, 1″ margins on all sides.

All entries must refrain from mentioning any authorial identities or the names of any institutions. Those must be mentioned in the email alone. Submissions must be made in doc or docx formats only. The submission must be saved with as short title of essay_initials of author/s. For Eg: plastic ban_at.docx

 

Last day of Registration: 

11:59 PM, 10th November 2019

The final day of Submission:

20th November 2019.

Registration Fees:

Rs. 200; co-authorship up to 2 is allowed.

The best essay will get a cash prize of Rs 2000/- and get published in the college magazine.

The best essay will be adjudged in each category and will get a certificate of merit as and published on the CLPRS Blog.

All entries will get a participation certificate.

  • The literary topics are relevant, socio-legal concerns and submissions ought to present a domestic outlook primarily, but may also reference international perspectives.
