Centre of Intellectual Property Rights Studies (CIPRS), School of Law, Galgotias University in association with Origiin IP Academy LLP, Bangalore, is organizing One Day National Workshop on Emerging issues in Intellectual Property Rights on 9th December 2017 at Galgotias University, Campus – I.
About CIPRS – The Centre for Intellectual Property Right Studies (CIPRS) was established in 2016 to pursue research in IPR issues. CIPRS is an initiative of SOL aimed at enhancing knowledge and understanding of the purpose, substance and scope of Intellectual Property Rights and to create awareness of IPR so as to equip the students and other professional with the latest developments in the field of IPR. CIPRS at School of Law, Galgotias University, broadly focuses on legal and regulatory issues relating to Intellectual Property Rights. It engages in research and training and also involves consultancy on IP laws and policies.
Objective of the Workshop – The objective is to conduct a workshop and to bring together students, academicians, professors and any law enthusiast. The workshop aims to increase knowledge and understanding of Intellectual Property Law concepts and issues and its overview and relevance. It tends to incline and encourage the audience towards Intellectual Property law and provide awareness of Intellectual property rights.
Theme – The workshop will highlight the overview and the relevance of IP in academics as well as practical fields and will also deal with emerging issues in IP specifically in relation to Entertainment Industries & Online Piracy, Trademark issues in Cyber Space and Technology Transfer & Patents. One session of the workshop will focus on Career opportunities in IPR.

Certificates for Participation will be provided to them who will attend all the sessions of workshop. It will be a One day workshop starting from 9 AM to 5 PM.
MODE OF PAYMENT- Participation fee is payable by each of the participants either through demand draft or online payment as per due dates.
