Asian countries, as the fastest-growing economic centers globally, have experienced significant social changes, necessitating adaptations in criminal justice systems. However, victim justice is crucial as these nations adapt their responses to crime victims’ unique social, economic, and cultural circumstances. The Conference aims to examine victim support strategies in different Asian countries, identifying successes and shortcomings, and analyzing front-line professionals’ experiences. This will set the agenda for future developments in victim support strategies and policies across Asia and the world.
