What Is Victor Dantas Charitable and Education Foundation’s Victor Dantas Law College (VDLC)?

Victor Dantas Charitable and Education Foundation’s Victor Dantas Law College (VDLC) was established in the year 2008. VDLC is approved by the Government of Maharashtra as well as the Bar Council of India and is affiliated with the University of Mumbai. It is a prestigious college providing high-quality legal education to students. VDLC offers both Three years LL.B. degree courses as well as Five five-year Pre-Law (B.A. LL.B.) Course.

VDLC is situated on a spacious land area in the nature-blessed city of Kudal, in the district of Sindhudurg of Maharashtra State. What Are The Details Of The Opportunity: 

  • Victor Dantas Law College (VDLC) Kudal is hosting its 1st National Level Competition in Mediation, Client Counselling, and Letter to the Chief Justice. The Competition is being held in March – April 2024 in hybrid mode i.e. preliminary rounds in Online mode and Finals in Offline mode.
  • The Preliminary rounds for Client Counselling and Mediation Competition will be held in March 2024 whereas the Finals followed by Valedictory Ceremony will be held in April 2024, in tandem with VDLC’s Foundation Day i.e. 7th April.
  • VDLC feels pride and satisfaction in bringing this detailed brochure to you, which is expected to provide complete details about each competition and the rules therein.
  • Participating Colleges are required to Register themselves using the `College Registration Form’ (link is provided in the brochure) and make a payment of one-time participation fees. Participating College may choose to participate in one or all of the competitions planned. There is no separate fee for any event. Once the College Registration Fee is paid up, the college can send one or more teams to participate in the events. It is possible to send only one team for all the events or separate teams for each event. A maximum of one team per event per institution is allowed. However, filling up the registration form for each event is necessary.
  • Utmost care is being taken to avoid any time and date conflicts between various Competitions enabling participating Colleges to send one team to compete in all events.
  • Mode: Hybrid (Online + Offline)
  • Preliminary Rounds: Online
  • Finals: Offline at College Campus.
  • Eligibility:
  • These Competitions are open to students pursuing their Bachelor’s degree in the current academic year i.e. 2023-24 in a three-year course or five years course in Law from any recognized School/College/University in India.
  • A maximum of one team from each participating college will be allowed to participate in each Competition.
