What Is The School of Law, UPES?
The School of Law, UPES, combines a carefully crafted curriculum with interactive learning methods to prepare students who can contribute towards shaping the legal landscape. The faculty at the School of Law includes experienced legal professionals and academics who are experts in their respective fields. The School of Law at UPES is known for its focus on practical learning and hands-on experience, with opportunities for internships, moot court competitions, and legal aid clinics.
Ascertaining the ones in need, helping them by providing legal advice, and guiding them through the difficulties they might face on their way to acquiring the ends of justice, are the major tasks of the legal aid cell. At UPES Legal Aid Clinic, we are a team of aficionados for “we must do what serves the best interest of the ones in need.” We stand for the protection of rights and the collective best interest of people. The very purpose of our existence is to raise awareness, bridge the gap between the authorities and the general public and help the vulnerable by providing them with the most effective solutions.
Filmmaking is a powerful medium for storytelling and can be used to explore a variety of social issues, promote positive change, and entertain audiences. Short films are a great way for aspiring filmmakers to get their start and showcase their talent. To encourage and promote short filmmaking, we are presenting the Yatharth Short Film Making Competition as part of Vidhi-Utsav. This competition is open to all law students across India.
