The Air and Space Law Committee, School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) is a dynamic and forward-thinking academic initiative dedicated to exploring the intricate legal aspects of aviation and space activities. The committee aspires to give students an exclusive setting through which they can discover about and appreciate how India is becoming a significant player in the global commercial aviation and space sector. The Committee has been working tirelessly to facilitate collaboration and knowledge exchange among students and professionals interested in this burgeoning field. Through seminars, workshops, and guest lectures, we delve into topics ranging from aviation safety regulations to international space treaties, addressing issues that are of paramount importance to both industries. As we explore the legal frontiers of the skies and beyond, we seek to inspire the next generation of legal minds to reach for the stars in their pursuit of justice and innovation.
What Are The Details Of The Competition?
- Theme: Air and Space Law
- Eligibility: Submissions shall be accepted from students/research scholars enrolled in a law undergraduate/post-graduate/PhD course at any recognised university in India
- Co-Authorship: Co-authorship is permitted, up to a maximum of 2 authors
- Registration Form: CLICK HERE to register
- Registration Fee: The registration fee for participation in the competition is Rs. 400 for single authorship and Rs. 700 for co-authorship

- Last date of submission: November 10, 2023
- Perks:
- The top 3 submissions will be awarded as the Winners and RunnersUp.
- The top 5 submissions will be published in the Indian Journal of Law and Public Policy (IJLPP), bearing ISSN 2394-2657. IJLPP is a blind, peer-reviewed, bi-annual law and public policy publication.
- One submission by a Research Scholar may be considered for publication in UGC-Indexed CHRIST University Law Journal (CULJ) [Jan-Jun 2024]. CULJ is a biannual, double-blind, peer-reviewed journal, which is a part of the Journal and Publication Society of School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University)
- Result Declaration: Results will be declared by December 25, 2023.
