- The Centre aims to become an ideal forum for the exchange of ideas on the international law applicable to implementing international air and space law. It shall be a centre for advanced research for those practising or studying international aerospace law.
- The research studies the aspects of accountability of the airports’ stakeholders with respect to the international legal or regulatory framework.
- The research identifies governance challenges, explores the complexity to manage stakeholders and lays down the importance of compliance with international legal obligations to solve cross-cutting issues related to the airport ecosystem.
- The Centre for Research in Air and Space Law at Maharashtra National Law University Mumbai invites applications for the position of Research Assistant under the project ‘A Study of Airport Governance in India under the Contemporary International Legal Regime’.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Co-Investigator and other team members in conducting literature reviews, and curating relevant cases and materials.
- Conducting field and desk research on identified issues.
- Preparing progress reports and or managing other reporting needs.
- Handling administrative responsibilities under the project.
- This role will report to the Project Co-Investigator and Program Coordinator.
Eligibility Criteria
- Master’s Degree in Law from a recognized University
- Candidates who have experience in undertaking field research will be preferred
- 0-3 years of work experience in an academic or professional setting with demonstrable evidence of research and writing ability (a sole-authored writing sample will be required).
- Analytical skills, collation skills, communication skills (written and oral), technical skills, and time-management skills.
- Self-driven, collaborative as well as the ability to work independently, attention to detail, and data-driven.
Remuneration
Rs. 30,000/- per month.
