  • School of Social Sciences and Interdisciplinary Studies at RGNUL, Punjab is organising a One Week International Faculty Development Programme on Law and Social Sciences for the Faculty Members, Research Scholars and Professionals working in Academia, Research Institutes and other Organizations.
  • The aim of this Faculty Development Programme is to familiarise the participants with the contemporary developments in the field of Law and Social Sciences from a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary perspectives. This programme would provide the participants with the opportunity to upgrade their skills to meet the contemporary challenges in their respective fields.
  • It would not only encourage the intellectual and scholarly development of the faculty members through the dissemination of knowledge but also enable collaboration with colleagues across disciplines and borders. For an effective teaching-learning process in law, it is essential to incorporate contemporary teaching techniques tailored to the needs of specific subjects. The task of a good teacher is to integrate various disciplines in the most effective and efficient ways to achieve the desired results.
  • The sessions in the present FDP will involve active interaction between the participants and the resource persons. The stalwarts from the fields of Law and Social Sciences would be delivering lectures and the Research Scholars, as well as the participating Faculty Members, will have the opportunity to ask questions and offer their comments at the end of every session.
