Roles to cater
- You will work directly under the guidance and supervision of the General and Legal Counsel to support the Investment Team on deal terms and due diligence on our potential investee companies and portfolio companies;
- You will work with the General and Legal Counsel to support the Investment Team by reviewing investment documents during the deals process and flagging any potential legal issues, risks or inconsistencies with commercial intent;
- You will participate in internal projects to help build legal assets for the organisation;
- You will be actively engaged with the Legal Team and Investment Team to understand the intended commercial terms of a deal (reviewing agreements, proofreading, and raising any flags).
Eligibility
- You’re currently studying towards a bachelor’ or master’ degree. Fields of study would preferably be in law, but we’re open to considering other fields;
- You have had at least 1-2 other internships;
- You’re intellectually curious and have a keen interest in Venture Capital and early-stage tech startups;
- You are thoughtful and insightful, possessing strong analytical skills and critical thinking skills;
- You have the ability to build trust and forge long term relationships with people;
- You are articulate and eloquent both in written and verbal communication;
- You have an open mind and strive for continuous self-development.
